True Life

Day 41- True Life

1 Samuel 2:30 NIV

“Therefore the Lord , the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the Lord declares: ‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.

When God called Moses, Aaron was chosen as a spokesman to speak on behalf of Moses, his brother. Aaron saw all the miracles that God did through Mises' rod and words, and he knew that God is indeed powerful. In the course of their journey in the wilderness, God instituted a new form of worship for Israel, and Aaron was expected to be the first priest to serve in that first tabernacle to be built. God made a promise go to Aaron- Exodus 29:9 AMP: And you shall gird them with sashes or belts, Aaron and his sons, and bind caps on them; and the priest's office shall be theirs by a perpetual statute. Thus you shall ordain and consecrate Aaron and his sons.
