The Right Response

1PE 3:12 NIV

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

It doesn't matter how long evil seems to thrive and travel; one day, it will be discovered and exposed. It does not matter what you tell yourself is the justification and reason behind the evil you committed; the God who sees all things and rewards or punishes accordingly is a righteous God who cannot be deceived. He is the One who sees ALL things, including the deepest motives behind our actions, even our deepest secrets. Is there any product that behaves contrary to the programming done by its creator? Have you ever seen where a product dictates to its creator How it wants to function?

As we go out this week, let us get something clear: God is not man that can be cajoled, manipulated or deceived by our show of sincerity. His eyes are always open, and he sees all that we do and how we do them. He's the rewarder of all who seek him and he is the judge who will also give to each man appropriately. As I open my mouth to speak to God and ask him for blessings, I must examine my life and be sure that there are no unconfessed sins in my life. Sin is a reproach and it does not matter what the world tells you. The world calls some sins small and labels some lies black and others white; no matter the colour or type or size, it was enough to take Jesus to the cross. You dare Not belittle his sacrifice by living carelessly. You dare not take his blessings for granted by indulging in sin. No matter how hard you pray or how loud you shout, his ears are shut to your words.
