When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
Is there anything else to be added to this? There's a choice to be made, a decision to be taken. What would it be? Is it pride or humility? Both are choices, and like all choices, both have consequences. With pride comes disgrace. It doesn't matter how long things work well for, once the foundation is on pride, it can only fall apart. Pride says I can do it by myself and don't need God. Of course, If God isn't on any project team, that project is doomed to fail.
The other choice is humility. With it comes honour. Isn't it amazing that the way up is down, and vice versa. If you keep trying to push yourself up, you will only go down. But if you allow God push you up, there's no limit to the honour God will bring you.
It is a choice. Make the right one, so you can end up on the right side and win the right prize. His time of favour is here.
