Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become tired or grow weary; There is no searching of His understanding. ISAIAH 40:28 AMP
You really cannot understand God from a distance; you can only begin to scratch the surface by getting into a relationship with him. If we place today's extract in context, we see Israel complaining that it appeared that the LORD didn't know anything about its troubles or care about the injustice it was suffering. We do the same today. Today's passage is God's response.
First note that you may not hear the answers you seek if you do not place yourself in a position to hear. All around me, there is noise. Noise from experience, noise from the safety net of family and friends, noise from account balances, noise from degrees and possessions. Unfortunately, none of them can answer the question above. When the noise from all of these goes quiet, what remains is just your knowledge of the Only One who can make things right.
Do you note that he does not promise you justice on your own terms? He does not undertake to give you what you want; he just wants you to know who him. When you know God truly, your idea about justice will be redefined. Look at how he is described: the Everlasting God. Long before your bad situation came up, he's been working behind the scenes, making sure that good is the eventual outcome of all your experiences. He's called the creator of the ends of the earth, including the end of your present experiences. No matter how bad a situation is today, always remember the popular sentence in the Bible: 'And it came to pass'. Nothing you see today, palatable or otherwise, is permanent; they are only steps to the place of destiny and the fulfilment of purpose.
No matter how long a situation lasts, it cannot outlast God. Nothing this earth offers was in place before God. God is the One who called out all of creation, set each part in place, gave each its limits, and has been sustaining all of it by his power since then. He's not like man, who can grow tired and weak, or simply give up on life. Nothing in creation can beat the wisdom, power and understanding of the Creator. We all answer to him, we all do his bidding and we all have a role to play in the place he has located us.
That's his power, wisdom and strength on display. As long as I am on this side of eternity, it is a lifelong search for answers. I must nurture my relationship with God, surrender to his leading and direction and trust his wisdom and power. His love for me will not let go, and his plans for me are bigger and better than my human mind can fathom. Daily, I go to him for directions. I don't trust instinct or yesterday's experience. He will not get tired of me; that's his promise. His time of favour is here.
