Numbers 23:19 AMP

God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?

In the brief years of my human existence, there's a lesson and a fact that I have come to accept and rely on: God does not lie. This statement is simple, yet weighty, considering the ease with which man strives to gain advantage over others through lies, deceit and deception. It is refreshing to knoe that there's a God who is fully truthful and dependent and whose words can be trusted, no matter the age or the circumstances.
As we run the race set before us, challenges will come. There will be days of inconvenience and discomfort; there will be days of joys and victories; life on earth here is s package of the good and the not-so-good, but in the midst of all these, you must settle in your that which God has said. If there's no word to sustain you in your life's race, you are likely to burn out, but if God is the sustainer, inspiration and the reality behind your life's journey, then you are bound to succeed.
