Declare!

Declare!

A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this. Psalms 22: 30‭-‬31 KJV

There is something generational about the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. It goes beyond the actual sacrifice itself, speaking to the past, present and future of human life and experience. As you read the entire chapter of Psalm 22, you can almost imagine the scenes at Calvary, as David speaks prophetically about the coming Saviour, everything He will experience and the consequences of his actions.

All who understand the value of what they have received become witnesses of their generation. They become seeds to the next generation, serving God and passing pn their experiences to the next. If I know the value of what I have received, I would love to pass it on to other people. And it is indeed a seed; with the inherent power to reproduce after its kind in a geometric proportion to what is sown. I see at least three generations/dispensations indicated here: the ones who know the Truth and who serve and teach the Truth, the ones who are learning about the Truth now and making sure that generations yet unborn find the paths towards those ancient paths.

How much of a legacy of Truth are you laying down? Are you generational in your thinking or just interested in the immediate and the now? God's righteousness has been made known to all men, and God is looking for witnesses and carriers, who will be his hands, ears, mouth and heart, extending His grace to unborn generations. Can He count on me? Can He count on you? His time of favour is here.
