Status Change or Status Update?

Psalm 113:4-9 MSG
God is higher than anything and anyone, outshining everything you can see in the skies. Who can compare with God , our God, so majestically enthroned, Surveying his magnificent heavens and earth? He picks up the poor from out of the dirt, rescues the wretched who've been thrown out with the trash, Seats them among the honored guests, a place of honor among the brightest and best. He gives childless couples a family, gives them joy as the parents of children. Hallelujah!
Indeed, it is a mystery the way God works in the lives of his creation. We try and reason God out, we logically process his ways and actions, yet the more we think it through, the more confused we get. We forget that the created can never fully comprehend the reason and the purpose of the created outside the help of the One who created it. How do you go to a mechanical engineer, with no prior background or knowledge in medicine, for medical advice on cancer? Or do you take your well-worn car to the medical doctor for diagnosis? God is the Creator, inspiration and sustainer of ALL things our eyes can see and it is only God that can repair,restore,re-organise and revive all that concern his creation.
That is why He has to be praised. A look around us gives clear insight into the kind of God that we have. How do you explain a shepherd boy with no experience becoming king over Israel? How do you explain hungry lions being kept quiet overnight because God's child-Daniel- was spending the night in their den? Or how do you explain how a promise and a covenant made with Abraham still operates more than 8,000 years ago? God is not your regular guy who forgets what he says or has to be reminded of his responsibilities. He's the God who is celebrated in the verses above as one who is higher than all, working out his best in the lives of His children.

Praise this God. He lives in it and works through it to bless us. You want a status change or you want to update your present status? Praise is the key. His time of favour is here
