Testify!

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
1 Timothy 2:5‭-‬6 NIV

Truth may have many variants, but it does not change form or fact; it remains what it is. Truth is not what I think or claim it is or affirm that it is, but what the Truth himself says it is. The reason why it appears that there are many variants of the Truth is down to one fact: man always seeks the easy way out, seeking alternatives to what has been confirmed. I take stock of my life again today, and I ask the same question: am I holding on the Truth or a convenient version of what is being passed as Truth?

God here speaks and affirms that there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind: the man Jesus Christ. That is the testimony of the father himself, and if there is proof of his consistency, you can trust that what he says is true. You do not take God at part of his Truth and reject the rest; if he says something is a complete package, then, I must accept all he offers, and not what is convenient for me.

Jesus Christ too has been given as a ransom/sacrifice for us, so we could be restored back to fellowship with God. When you seek admission to a school, do you decide what is required, or you comply with the minimum requirements set by the school? How much more God? He has laid down the channel through which all men must come, young and old, rich and poor, man and woman. All are invited.

The testimony of that life which was given has been made clear. His life keeps producing life in others. Man is being reconciled to God through that ransom,  and God's Truth is being established in the hearts of men. Have you responded to this Truth? One big lesson: there is nothing you hold now, that will be important when the question of eternity is to be answered. Be sure you have the right answer: God's own Truth. His time of favour is here.
