Who's He 2!

Who's He 2!

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20‭-‬21 KJV

Man's greatest achievement will be an early realization of the focus of this piece, the One who is called God. Man has achieved quite a lot in terms of technological and scientific discoveries, yet there is an hunger for something deeper. There is a void that can't be filled by people, service or activity; the one who breathed into man and made him a living soul must occupy his place in man's life, otherwise life will be a pointless pursuit of nothingness. That is the God of whom this whole piece is about.

There are many parts to this God, but today's extract speaks to just one part. Think of all the good you desire for yourself down here, and you have not scratched the surface of the scope or depth of the power, strength and might of this God. No demand on earth can exhaust the resources of heaven, but the greatest limitation to the outward expression of God's power is our inner doubts and fears. We ask, and then we doubt if God is able to do it. Why ask, if you are not certain that the One you call on has all power to do all He promises?

Even for the things that are in the realm of imagination, God says He is able to do more than these. Imagine God giving you a dream, and you subject the possibility of the dream to human machinations and schemes. You want to do use human connections and abilities to drag these dreams into reality. Unfortunately, it is what God births that He can sustain. If He gave them, He will bring them to pass. His power is not subject to rational thinking but when you see the results of his power, you will know that God alone is truly the all-powerful One. All other authorities are mere pretenders.

The power is not of me or about me; it is of and from God, but expressed in and through me. If I allow God work in and through me, the glory and praise are returned back to God as it should be. The expected output from my life must be praise without end. The world has to know who this God is; He wants to be made known throughout the earth. How else will this work if my life is not the receptacle through which this will be done? Can God take glory in and through me? Is my life such that God's power can shine through? His time of favour is here.
