Coming Glory!

As you take a good long look at the world around you, what do you see? One thing I can say is clear is the pervasive depth of godlessness all around us. All the laws of God are being broken with impunity, and man always has an explanation for the present state of affairs. We have tried to convince ourselves that what we see now is the sign of advancement and progess, while we conveniently forget that God's standards have never changed and will not change, irrespective of generation or dispensation or advancement in science.

Through today's extract, we are reminded that God has not forgotten us and He is still in control. It may not look like it now, but God's promise is that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God. How would that work? First, I must understand my place in the divine plan. I am a carrier of God's glory, and His glory is made manifest as I live for Him. Secondly, if I choose not to allow God work in and through me, He can raise 'stones'. It is a privilege to be counted on in this odd season, but God is looking for vessels He can clean up and make use of. Through me, God wants to work. He wants the world to know and fear Him, and the best lessons on this would be each of us, living this out everyday of our lives.

The time is coming, and I believe it is now. The devil is working hard to raise and promote falsehood; God is also raising men to promote His kingdom. God's purpose will be established, no matter how it looks now. You had better be on the right side of this, because eternity is at the end of your decision. The glory is coming; the waters are rising and the children of God, born for exploits, are taking their place. Whose side are you on? His time of favour is here.
