Isaiah 40:30-31 NIV
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
There's a limit to what human strength can achieve. There's a limit to the length of days, years, strength and power that we have been given in human form, therefore there's a limit to the help that humans can give you. Of what use is relying on a promise made by a mere mortal man, who's not sure of seeing tomorrow? Isn't it better to trust in the limitless, powerful all-knowing God,who's able to take you farther than any human machination, arrangement or connections can take you.
As we wait on the Lord, our strength is renewed. These wordz sound odd, in the light of the hustle and bustle of life's expectations. We are taught to hurry, and oppourtunities come only to those who are brave, but there's a grace that demands I wait on God before I run, a grace that demands I wait for directions before I commit, so that God's impact could be felt more. No human connections could lift Joseph from the prison to the palace, and no human power could change Jabez's destiny. It all starts with absolute dependence on God and his grace and strength.
You want to go farther than you have ever gone in life? You want to run faster, jump higher or walk worthy of the grace of God who has called you? Wait on God........then move in His strength. Long after human ability has expired, God's grace will continue to sustain. His time of favour is here
