Clear and Faultless!

For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). We have listened to various versions of how the earth was created. Rather than solve the puzzle, science has created an even bigger problem, due to the conflicting accounts of how the earth was formed. We speak about man's evolution, prehistoric age and several other things, yet there seems to be a complete ignorance or lack of knowledge of the power behind all that our eyes can see. Unfortunately, the existence of God is not based on my acceptance of the fact.

All around me, if I will listen carefully and observe what is going on, I will see God at work. Is it the way the clouds form or the changing seasons? Is it the fact that it is sunlight in one part of the earth and thick darkness in another part of the same earth at the same time? Is it about each person's particular fingerprints, or the fact that our DNA shows our shared humanity, irrespective of the colour of our skin or the language we speak? We focus so much on the things that make us 'superior' to others, forgetting that it is our peculiarities that speak the loudest message about the power and greatness of God.

There is no excuse for not knowing God. He has made his will and purpose clear in creation, and creation continues to speak of His power, wisdom and might. Are we even listening or does God have to knock us on the head to get our attention? I can't blame God for how my life turns out, if I spend my life ignoring Him. Whilst there is time, I must seek Him out and submit to Him, so my life can be a vessel He can shine through. His time of favour is here.
