God's Nature

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. Hebrews 6:10 NIV

God is not unjust: a statement of deep conviction, borne out of experience. You cannot fully comprehend God, how he works or why he does what he does, but one thing is very clear: he is not unjust. It is in man's nature to be unpredictable, to sometimes pay back good with evil, to be insincere and hypocritical in his actions and intentions. Man can make promises and break them the next moment without a twinge of conscience. However, God is a lot different from this.

He asks that I live, walk and work for him and that he will bless me in return. His Word is eternal and forever settled, and like he affirmed to Jeremiah: he is "watching over his Word to perform it".  His promise is that he will guide me in the paths that I should go. His promise is that he will bless the work of my hands, done in line with his will. His promise is that every labour of love will not go unnoticed or unrewarded.

It is clear that people around me are the raw materials for my blessings and how I deal with them will determine if I get blessed. God expects me to be his hand, his eye, his mouth, his ear and his heart, extending mercy and grace to all who I come in contact with. Everything I do is done in his name and to him, and he will surely reward. Man may consider him to be slow; man may be tempted to speed up the process, but one thing is clear: whatever God has said is cast in stone, nothing can shake it or change it, because it is backed up by God's unchanging nature. Is there anything he has told you? Hold on tightly to it; the season of manifestation is  at hand. His time of favour is here.
