In these strange times, a decision will have to be made. I have got to sort out my priorities and the things I consider as important. As I take stock, I am convinced that God deserves close attention. What has he done? Who is He?
First of all, he is my personal God. Yes he is God over all, but my life will never show life until it has been taken over by God. Until I surrender all to God and hold him out as Lord of all in me, my life will not make sense.
Secondly, an understanding of who He is will lead me to an appropriate response: praise and thanksgiving. The devil knows that focusing on God brings peace, joy and hope, so he will do his best to keep our eyes on the problems. However, when I have gotten the focus right, I have gotten the impact right.
Thirdly, a review of my life will also reveal why I need to hold God in high esteem. He is a specialist in miracles and lost causes. He is a God who walks in when the world has walked out. He is a consultant on life affairs, with solutions to the most knotty life issue. He had planned my life long before my parents even came together, and throughout my life, he will keep working and sorting my life out, so I can be all he wants me to be.
