Proof of Life!

For there is one God, and there is one who brings God and human beings together, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself to redeem everyone. That was the proof at the right time that God wants everyone to be saved, 1 Timothy 2:5‭-‬6 GNB

Truths:
1. There is only one God. There is no doubt, no controversy and no argument that can prove otherwise. If God existed long before creation started, how can we rely on created things to either prove or disprove the fact that he exists?

2. God's grace and favour produced a way for us to be reconciled back to God when we sinned. God made his one and only son the path to redemption. No other person can do it, because no other person laid down his life for us. The price has been given, the price has been paid, the way has been laid and we now stand redeemed.

3. The gift is free to us, but it cost God something. All he is asking us for is to believe in his Son and receive eternal life. A day of reckoning is coming soon, when men will be judged on the basis of who they are, who they knew and what they did, and the one and most important consideration will be your response to the gift that has been given.

God has done his own part. He has laid down a new path for us so we can be saved. He has freely given us his Son, who is all that we need for life down here and eternal life eventually. What will be my response: take hold of the gift or hold on to man's false doctrines of self- sufficiency? His time of favour is here.
