Planning for Good!

‘For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord , ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. JEREMIAH 29:11 AMP

Origin and Sustenance
God is the one speaking here. What you see around you may not always line up with what you have heard God speak, but when you consider the power, ability and wisdom of the one who has promised, you get the clear message that nothing around you lasts forever, only God's Word does. This passage was against the backdrop of the 70 years in exile promised the Israelites. They could not see hope, but the God of hope was speaking here. What do you hear? Who do you listen to?

Clear Planning and Execution
God does not just speak; there is an order, method and structure to his Word. God says he has a plan, and the one plans are for good, not for evil. We does not create us and abandon us; the fact that each one of us alive has a peculiar set of fingerprints that no one else has, shows that great and careful planning went into my life. I cannot just live, eat, marry and die. I must discover the why and the how of God's plan, so that my life can make the impact it was designed to make and glorify God as it should.

Eternity in View
Nothing about God's plan is just for this present earth only. All that God does and says is stepped in eternity. It is not about the here only, but the hereafter also. God says his plans will lead to a good future and a bright hope. Evidence around you will testify to that truth. Your present pains is a testimony to that truth. The presence of God in you is a pointer to the fact that it will not just end here.

What is it going to be for you? Are you settling for God's plan for you or you want to seek out other options that are faster, quicker and 'better'?. God is sufficient, no matter what you present economy, account balance or portfolio size may say. His time of favour is here.
