Finders Keepers

All that My Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, never reject anyone who follows Me]. JOHN 6:37 AMP

There is something amazing about a God who seeks out eternal relationships with people who are weaker and smaller than he is. The entire revealed Word speaks about God and his Work and Word, at work in the lives of men. He created man, and continues to seek him out, even after man has chosen the path of death. He continues to call man to himself, because he wants to really display his power and might in those weak vessels.

There is nobody beyond that call. As long as I am created by God, he has a plan for my life, and he will continue to seek me out until I respond and come to him. It means I have a choice to make: God will never force himself on me. He has shown me the Way, he has told me the Truth, and he offers me Life. All I need do is come to Him.

Check out the assurance: all who come will never be rejected. It is never about qualification, possession, connection, ability, capacity and all the other big words we use to disqualify people. God has no such words. All he asks is that I come to him as I am, nothing more. He will do the rest and make the best according to his own standard. What else do I need? His time of favour is here.

Prayer: Lord, I come to you. I cannot help myself, I depend totally on your grace. I know you will accept me as I am, and make me what you desire. Amen.
