The Only One!

And the Lord shall be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord shall be the only one [worshiped], and His name the only one. ZECHARIAH 14:9 AMP

As long as the earth remains as it is, the creator of it has assured that the regular process of life will continue: "seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night Shall not cease.” Those are his words. As I live daily, I see the truth in that statement everywhere I turn. If I have no problem  accepting, believing and embracing this truth, I wouldn't have a problem embracing today's truth.

The one who introduces himself to us as the Lord declares that he will be King over all the earth. It may not look like it now, but God's power, nature and ability to fulfil his promise is not now nor will ever be in doubt. If he says he will level mountains or raise up valleys, he is able to do just that, and much more. If I have no problem believing in the power of God to do anything, then it wouldn't be a problem also accepting his Kingship and Lordship over all the earth.

A day is coming when he will be the only One to be worshipped. A day is coming when his name will be the only One who matters. In that day, it wouldn't be so much as a choice, but the world must accept this truth. The day is coming soon, and all of us must make a choice of allegiance and surrender before that day comes. Just as the same Lord also said elsewhere: “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall give praise to God .” ROMANS 14:11AMP.
