Why I Stand!

In Him we have redemption [that is, our deliverance and salvation] through His blood, [which paid the penalty for our sin and resulted in] the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin, in accordance with the riches of His grace EPHESIANS 1:7 AMP

Everything we are, we become through a higher authority. You cannot make anything out of your life without the express permission of the One who holds life in his hands. The reverse is also true: there is another choice that leads to death and destruction and there is an authority in charge of those too. It all depends on whose authority you are submitted to.

With the One who promises me life, I get full pardon for my past. What I was before and what I had done had no power in the face of the One who gave  his life so I could have life. God follows principles, and when the life he gave us was lost due to sin, another life had to be given to restore us to who, what and where we were supposed to be.

This is important: it is IN him that we enjoy this life; not around, about, outside or close to him. You can live inside church or sleep on the altar; it won't do you much good if that Life does not live inside you. You can bear the name or look the part; if He does not live in you, you don't get to enjoy what he offers.

It is not about qualifications, ability, capacity or awareness; all the grammar in the world does not make an impact on the impact true life makes in you when you do not have Him. Do you? What is your choice of residence? His time of favour is here.
